Short professional biography:

Goran Golubović is recognized IT, data, and banking expert, a successful manager with more than 25 years of professional experience. He started his career in Belgrade in 1997 as an IT developer and solution architect. Since moving to Slovenia in 2002, he was leading several digital transformation and data & analytics projects. For the last 6 years, he worked as general manager in charge of Data & Analytics transformation and strategy implementation in NLB Group. In 2023 he started a new position as Chief Information Officer in Deželna Banka Slovenije (DBS).

He believes in constantly learning. Besides numerous certifications he earned, after graduating as an engineer of informatics in Belgrade and earning a bachelor’s degree in management in Slovenia, he successfully finished Executive MBA studies.

Goran Golubović was 2 years in a row, key speaker at ConnectAI Boot Kamp (supported by Google, UNESCO, IRCAI – International Research Centre on Artificial Intelligence, University of Ljubljana – School of economics and business – Centre of business excellence, etc.) lecturing about the future of AI and real-life data science use cases from his daily, banking practice, and about emerging data & analytics roles and technologies. He was a guest speaker at several international IDC Conferences talking about AI, data and analytics. He was lecturing about data management in the modern banking environment at the Business Analytics Forums in Slovenia. He was hosting the students of International Management from the University of Klagenfurt teaching them about AI and data science in a business environment. He was lecturing at several IBM conferences about real-life Data & Analytics use cases. He was moderating and lecturing conferences organized by the Association of Banks of Slovenia in the role of Chairman of the Informatics Committee at the Banks of Slovenia association.
